CHINT 51.5MW PV Power Plants in Poland Connected to the Grid
2021-02-26

Recently, the first batch of 51.5MW PV power plants in Poland, invested by the China-Central and Eastern Europe Fund and contracted by CHINT Solar, has been successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The entire 51.5MW project will be completed in the next 3-4 months. It is estimated that the annual total power generation will reach to 50 million kWh, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 50,000 tons, and will contribute to the development of renewable energy in Poland.

The 51.5MW PV power station was the first construction project of CHINT Solar in Poland during the COVID-19 pandemic. With leading technology, superior products and fast-response services, CHINT Solar has overcome difficulties in international standards, program design, communication barriers and cold weather. The high-efficiency AstroTwins PV modules are used to compensate for the loss of power generation caused by the limited land area and its shadow, which finally won the customer praise. In the process of project construction, CHINT Solar also took the initiative to assume economic and social responsibilities, live in harmony with the local community, provided a large number of local jobs, and trained a group of local photovoltaic project management and technical personnel.

The 51.5MW PV power station project is an important step for CHINT Solar's overseas business development in Poland and even the Central and Eastern European markets. CHINT will continuously improve power station development, operation and maintenance of whole industry chain and build more high-quality projects.
